The COVID-19 pandemic may have put a damper on traditional holiday gatherings, but drive-thru Christmas lights displays across Texas provide a way to celebrate the holiday season while social distancing.
The great thing about all these light show experiences is that you do not have to leave the comfort of your own car to capture some of the Christmas spirit.

TMLIRP 2020 Drive-Thru Christmas Lights Display Guide
Athens: The Christmas Park – Land of Lights
Drive-thru more than a mile decorated with over 4 million lights, including more than 60 different musical scenes and 50 motion-controlled light scenes. Display also includes six tunnels, 14 arches and 2,000 wood cutouts.

Austin: The 56th Annual Austin Trail of Lights
One of capital’s longest running holiday traditions, the 56th Annual Austin Trail of Lights is returning to Zilker Park as a drive-thru event. The trail features more than 2 million lights illuminating the park, 90 lighted holiday trees and more than 70 other holiday displays and lighted tunnels.

Cleveland: Christmas Ranch
This is on the smaller side but amazing considering it is just a homeowner putting on the display for free! They have been

Grand Prairie: Prairie Lights
Two miles of road is set blazing with 4 million light displays and arches. Half-way through you can order drinks and treats from a drive-thru concession. The second half features a new light tunnel for 2020.

Drive-thru over a mile on winding country roads while checking out the beautiful lights and Christmas displays.

San Antonio: Lights Alive!
Drive-thru nearly a mile of computer-controlled, musically synchronized display filled with Christmas lights. This show is produced by the same folks that did the Star Wars lights show in downtown San Antonio in 2017.
